Fans know Mariah Carey as a heartbreaker. But a firefighter? Carey revealed on Twitter Monday that she stopped an electrical fire with a towel just before taking the stage in Egypt. "In Egypt getting ready to go on stage and suddenly there was a surge of power and an electrical fire started under my feet!" she tweeted. "Wtf?!" Carey added that her "emergency instincts" told her to suffocate the fire with a towel.

According to the songstress, a local radio station seemed to be in tune with the crisis and played the appropriate soundtrack. "The funny thing about this ish [sic] is an ol'skool radio station in the other room started playing 'aww freak out!'  Carey is currently on tour in the Middle East. She recently performed against a backdrop of the Giza Pyramids.
