Mariah Carey has admitted that Christmas in her house looks set to be an over-the-top affair. The singer and her husband Nick Cannon are set to enjoy their first festive season with twins Monroe and Moroccan, and said that like every year, she'll be going all out on the celebrations. 'I start planning my Christmas in June,' the 41-year-old told The Sun. 'It's absolutely my favourite holiday and I've always loved everything about this time of year. I love cooking and I'm a smash-hit wonder in the kitchen.
'I'm going to be making the turkey, cranberry sauce and all the trimmings this Christmas. I cooked at Thanksgiving and it was a real success with everyone asking for seconds.'Her husband of three years is just a big a fan of Christmas as she is. 'Luckily Nick is almost as over-the-top festive as me,' she added. 'One year we hired Santa Claus to come round with real reindeer that looked as if they were going to fly off into the snow at any moment. Everyone loved it.'
